Use:
  • Treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis
  • Treatment of mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible gram-positive organisms
Side Effects:
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Allergic reactions (rash, itching, anaphylaxis)
Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to penicillins
  • History of severe allergic reactions to penicillins or cephalosporins
